Gal Pals is a queer dance party, hailing from London and Brighton, playing music exclusively by women.
Founded in 2015 by two former ‘Gal Pals’ and DJs XZAN and Scarlett Shaney, Gal Pals is an intentional space created to address the lack of spaces for queer women, trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming people.
Playing the best in female-fronted pop, hip-hop, electronic, R&B and queer party anthems, Gal Pals run regular club nights at Komedia Brighton and all across London.
Our resident DJs XZAN, Scarlett Shaney, and GAL9000 have played at Glastonbury Festival, Primavera Sound Barcelona, Mighty Hoopla, Body Movements, Brighton Pride and Manchester Pride. They have supported musicians such as Big Freedia, Mykki Blanco and Anna Calvi, and collaborated with Soho House, Brighton Festival and many more. You can listen to our mixes here.
